Policies
Class Sign-Up/Late Arrivals/Cancellation
Class Sign-Up
It is required that all students register on line for each class that you wish to attend. This will guarantee that there is a space reserved for you. We understand that things come up and you may need to cancel out of class. You may do so up to 2 hours prior to the start of class without penalty.
Late Arrivals
To ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment of class, please arrive a few minutes prior to the start of class. A proper warm up is essential to safely participate in class. It is also distracting to the instructors and other students when you arrive late. If you are more than 10 minutes late you will forfeit your spot in class.
Cancellation
All members are required to have a credit card on file so that we may charge the appropriate fees for no shows and late cancels.
Membership holders will be charged $7 per occurrence for late cancels (within 2 hours of the start time of class) or for no shows.
Class Pass holders and Drop-Ins will forfeit that session. It will not be credited back to your package.
Elevation Fitness retains the right to cancel class should enrollment consist of 2 students or less 4 hours prior to the scheduled start of class. Class may also be cancelled if enrollment consists of 1 student 2 hours prior to the scheduled start of class.
Miscellaneous
Elevation Fitness is equipped with 8 X-Poles. Flow and lower leveled classes will fill to one student per pole. Higher leveled classes may fill to 10 students per class. All classes have a 2 person waitlist. If someone cancels out of class, the first person on the waitlist will automatically be added to class. To ensure that each student receives ample time from the instructor, these limits will be strictly enforced.
Class Etiquette
Please arrive a few minutes early for class and please remain in the lobby if another class is still in session.
What do I wear? For our fitness classes, wear what you feel comfortable working out in. Some classes are barefoot, some need sneakers. To get the most out of your pole class, wear shorts and a tank top or sports bra. You need skin contact on the pole. So, the shorter the shorts the better.
Also, please refrain from wearing lotions/oils/perfumes to class. They can negatively interact with the poles and affect the safe use of them.
Kindly remove any jewelry before class. Not only is it a safety hazard (to you and the jewelry) but can cause damage to the poles.
Clean your mat and pole after class with the towels and cleaner provided.
We encourage you to document your skills and progress via photos and video...however we ask that you be mindful of others in class when taking photos and videos. Not everyone wants to be on the 'gram.
Our instructors put a lot of thought and time into lesson planning. It is important that you stick to practicing the skills being taught in class. It is unfair to the instructor and other students who are in class when someone requires attention for a skill that is not being taught at the time. You are welcome to schedule a private session or rent the studio to work on all of those skills you have in your Pole Goals folder.
